Mark Price (Senior Pastor)
Mark has been the Senior Pastor at Hope City Church since August 2008. His passion is to see people’s lives changed by Jesus Christ and to oversee a vibrant church community making a difference to our city. He is married to Becky and they have two daughters, Beth and Amelia. Mark is currently studying part time at Regents Theological College. He enjoys curry and is currently in training for a marathon run.
Ray Rowe (Elder)
Ray is a longstanding member of Hope City Church. He has served as an elder for several years and is a Life Group Leader. He is responsible for overseeing our building projects, having gained experience in the planning and building industry before his retirement. Ray is married to Audrey. He is an avid supporter of Hereford United Football Club and goes on holiday to France whenever he can!
John Brooks (Elder)
John has been a member at the church for many years. He leads our Alpha courses and a Life Group, as well as serving in one of the soup kitchens. He is married to Sue and they have two grown up children. John has a special ability for helping and supporting hurting people.
Gordon Taylor (Deacon)
Gordon is the church administrator and has responsibility for the general maintenance of the church buildings. He has four grown up children (including the Pastor’s wife!). Among his interests are photography, golf and music.
Sally Mowbray (Deacon)
Sally is responsible for the church’s financial administration and prepares the monthly accounts. She plays keyboard and sings in the worship band. Sally is married to Greg and they have three grown up children. She enjoys reading and Formula One racing.
Marc Havard (Deacon)
Marc is a member of the worship band and, along with his wife, Jenny, is part of the youth leadership team. He likes keeping fit; he has a quick wit and a keen sense of humour!
Terry Jennings (Deacon)
Terry is currently studying full time for a BA Degree in Theology at Regents College, having previously worked for a number of years in the criminal law department at a firm of solicitors. He will eventually oversee our Teen Challenge work when it begins. Terry is married to Debbie and they have two young children, Hope and Thomas. He has been a follower of Jesus for around 20 years and is still passionate about how God rescues us.
Paul Taylor (Deacon)
Paul, together with his wife, Lorraine, heads up “Rock”, which is our youth department. Paul is also an enthusiastic member of the worship band! He is committed to changing our culture and music and impacting the lives of young people with God’s love. Paul and Lorraine have three sons and a daughter aged from 8 to 20.
